Overview
Blue Box Technologies supplies lighting, sound and solar power equipment. Between April and September 2026 we built its WooCommerce store on Avada and then switched it to a catalogue for trade enquiries.
The brief
The business wanted a clear product site aimed at trade buyers, compliant with South African privacy law, that could show its full range without public prices.
What we did
- Designed and built a WooCommerce store on WordPress and Avada for solar lighting and power products.
- Wrote a B2B tagline for the brand.
- Designed the favicon.
- Wrote a privacy policy to meet the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Switched the store to catalogue mode in August 2026, so buyers browse and enquire, and hardened the catalogue settings.

Outcome
The site is live at blueboxtech.co.za as “Blue Box Technologies – Lighting, Sound & Solar Equipment South Africa”, with catalogue mode in place since August 2026.
