Overview

Lema International Trading sells to business customers. In 2026 we replaced an unfinished bespoke shop with a B2B storefront that a corporate customer’s procurement system can buy from directly, and released two of the plugins behind it as open source.

The brief

Lema needed a working trade storefront with customer-specific buying, a clear catalogue, and a way for a large corporate customer to order from inside its own purchasing system.

What we did

  • Information architecture, the category tree and design decisions for a WordPress storefront on WooCommerce, B2BKing and Avada.
  • Home-page hero proposals; the chosen design went live on 13 October 2026.
  • A cXML PunchOut supplier plugin, so a corporate customer can buy from Lema’s catalogue directly from its Microsoft Dynamics 365 purchasing system.
  • A Bulk Catalogue Manager plugin for managing the product catalogue in bulk.
  • An import pipeline for product data.
  • Ongoing maintenance and hosting.

Both plugins are published, with all client references removed:

Outcome

The storefront is live at lema.co.za. The PunchOut production set-up was sent to the corporate customer on 20 October 2026, and both plugins were published on 13 October 2026. The project is at launch stage, so there are no sales figures yet.
