Overview
Workspace on the Avenue runs an online business directory at my.workspaceontheavenue.co.za. We built it in 2019 for a design agency partner, and the directory that is live today is still essentially that build.
The brief
The directory needed to let businesses add and pay for their own listings, claim existing ones, and be found by visitors through search, filters, maps and ratings.
What we did
- Built the directory in WordPress with the ListingPro theme and WPBakery.
- PayFast payments for listings.
- A claim-listing process for businesses already in the directory.
- Google Maps on each listing.
- Ratings, search and filters.
- Hosting.
Outcome
The directory has been running since 2019, inviting visitors to “+Add Your Business!”, with no major changes to its pages since September 2019.
