Overview
Crazy About Beauty South Africa sells beauty and personal-care products. Over November and December 2024 we designed and built its online shop on WordPress, Avada and WooCommerce, and prepared the product content and imagery for launch.
The brief
The business needed a complete online shop, from product pages and pricing to payments, shipping and policies, ready to sell to retail customers and members.
What we did
- Designed and built a WooCommerce shop on Avada.
- Prepared the product content from the client’s own photos and product information.
- Turned the member and retail price lists into structured product data.
- Drafted the About page from the client’s brief.
- Sourced about 45 licensed lifestyle images and converted them to WebP for fast loading.
- Prepared the logo files for the web.
- Set up shipping rules, the bank-transfer payment option and the policy pages.
- Hosting with advanced email security and DNSSEC, and a domain transfer in January 2025.
Outcome
The shop opened to customer registrations in December 2024 and received its first order on 4 February 2025.

- February 2025: first order.
- 2026: the shop is no longer online.
