Overview
Consafe supplies safety equipment and workwear under the tagline “Think Safety First”. The Brand Muffin designed and built its online catalogue, which lets trade buyers browse the range and request a quote without public prices.
The brief
Consafe wanted its full range online for buyers to browse, with pricing kept private and every order starting as an enquiry.
What we did
- Designed and built a WordPress catalogue on Avada and WooCommerce, starting in April 2023 on our development server.
- Added catalogue mode with an enquiry and quote cart (October 2023), so prices stay hidden and buyers send a quote request instead of paying online.
- Built the supporting pages: About, Quote, privacy policy and customer account.
- Took the site live on our hosting in May 2024.
- 2026: performance work that cut the server’s page build time from about 7 seconds to between 1.8 and 2.9 seconds.
- October 2026: a check that no prices appear anywhere on the public site.
- Ongoing hosting and maintenance.
Outcome
The catalogue has been live since May 2024, taking product enquiries through its quote cart. The 2026 performance work made pages build more than twice as fast on the server.
