Overview

ArtRageous Tattoos is a tattoo studio. Between 2016 and 2018 The Brand Muffin designed and developed its website and gave the studio a matching set of illustrations, stationery and promotional video. It was the first project featured in the portfolio on our original website.

The brief

The studio wanted a website that matched the energy of its work and made booking easy, and a visual language it could use online and in print.

What we did

  • Website design and development: a dark, image-led site introduced with “experience the energy of a high-end professional tattoo studio”, with a Book Now call to action.
  • A hand-drawn doodle icon set for the website: skull, crown, pyramid eye, planet, owl, twin fish, pyramid, crystals, hand and triangle, and arrows.
  • A letterhead.
  • A custom illustration and a promotional video (October 2018).
  • An Instagram feed on the website.
  • Google Ads.

Outcome

The website, icon set, letterhead, illustration and video were delivered by the end of October 2018. The studio became the first case study listed on The Brand Muffin’s own site in December 2018, and its logo sat in the partner strip on our home page.
